The PENN Tidal XT Solid Carbon Sensitip K-type rods are part of the new and exclusive PENN Tidal surfcasting concept. The Tidal XT Solid Carbon Sensitip K-type rods have a very slim and lightweight blank which is made of a mixture of 36T and 40T carbon. The responsive blank also features carbon X-wrap technology, which makes the blank even more powerful and reduces twisting, resulting in improved casting accuracy and extreme casting properties. The extremely sensitive Hybrid Sensitip is a bit slimmer in diameter compared to the regular Solid Carbon tips, resulting in an even better bite registration, especially deadly in calm water circumstances. Finished with Saltwater proof Fuji K-type guides with Alconite rings and a special X-shrink casting grip, these rods are built for extreme casting distances.
