The Daiwa Basia DF BDFX452300-AU is a 12 ft, 3.00 lb test-curve carp rod from Daiwa's Basia DF range, designed in conjunction with Danny Fairbrass.
DF = Danny Fairbrass. The rod was developed with his input, and it's designed around the sort of characteristics associated with modern long-range carp fishing.
Daiwa describes the Basia DF as having a reduced-diameter blank and MT (Magnum Taper) tip action, with an ultra-high-grade carbon core reinforced with BAIS. It also has a Fuji DPS reel seat and a low-glare silk-matt finish
