Made from high strength, lightweight graphite for the lightest Virtuoso in the range which comes in both a 5000 and an 8000 size. An upgrade from the original Virtuoso is the screw in CNC machined handle. Most reels on the market feature a bar that runs through the reel, while this is strong, it does create some movement when winding. Screw-in handles create a tighter, stronger connection between the handle and the reel, eliminating any side-to-side movement when winding in. The reel body has screw threads on either side so the handle can be used for both left and right-handed anglers. Not only is the body lighter than the other two versions, but the spool is too. Instead of it being a solid spool, it is built in a cage, honeycomb-like structure that dramatically reduces the weight of the spool without compromising on strength. As with all Virtuoso Reels, other spools in the range are compatible with the 8000 version. An ideal reel for fishing on clean beaches and amongst mixed ground, especially for anglers who want as light a reel as possible while also have the flexibility to use a variety of different spools. The 5000 version will find favour for anglers who light ledger fish, using shorter rods and as a heavy lure fishing reel.

SALTWATER USE: Virtuoso reels have been designed for saltwater use. They feature graphite bodies and stainless steel bearings which are corrosion resistant and saltwater proof.
POWERFUL DRAG & PERFECT LINE LAY: A precise, micro-adjustable drag to suit the conditions and intended catch. A slow oscillation system that improves line lay and promotes line efficiency during the cast for longer distances.
INCLUDED: Comes in both 5000 and 8000 sizes. Spools come with Tronixpro Spool Bands and reels come with a Tronixpro cloth bag.
